Meet The Team

Lilia

Swim Instructor

Lilia is the founder of Lilly’s Bluefin Aquatics. She started taking swim lessons from the age of six and swam competitively in high school. She decided to return to swimming in 2015 when she enrolled at Los Angeles Technical College to become a swim instructor. She is working to get her Bachelor's Degree in Deaf Studies. Lilia has spent the last 6 years at a non-profit swim school teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities.

She is trained in the Swim Angelfish® Methodology that helps swimmers in need of adaptive swim lessons.

Emily

Swim Instructor

Emily has been swimming for over 12 years and has taught swim lessons for 2 years. Her passion for aquatics and teaching adaptive lessons has grown significantly throughout the past two years. She is going to BYU Provo and planning to study in exercise science to become a physical or occupational therapist. Her future goal is to open a pool facility that focuses on aquatic strengthening and wellness and also provides adaptive swim lessons.

Roxie

Swim Instructor

Roxie has been teaching swim lessons for 13 years and coaching swim teams for 8 years. She has taught aerobics and is also a lifeguard. She's done it all! She likes to swim, draw, and paint. However, aquatics is her passion. Her goal is to find new ways to teach swim lessons to develop a new love of swimming.

Angelica

Administrator

Angelica is the Assistant Program Administrator for Lilly's Bluefin Aquatics. She was born and raised in Los Angeles. She graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2020 with her Bachelor's Degree in Family & Consumer Sciences: Interior Design. Aside from assisting at Lilly's Bluefin Aquatics, Angelica also works as a Designer/Home Stylist in Beverly Hills.
